Build it
Lean projects. Real results.
We build practical technology and run research with the funding behind it. Small teams, a fixed scope and short cycles, so you see results early and, where the work qualifies, the funding can pay for much of it.
What we build
Four areas, one approach.
Each starts small, with one clear goal, and grows only once the first result has proved itself.
01
AI and automation
We find the repetitive work in your team's week and automate it: document handling, reporting, customer enquiries and internal flows. We start with one process, show it working, and only then widen it to the next.
Weeks, not years
02
Data and analytics
We bring your scattered data into one place and make it readable: clear dashboards for the numbers you steer by, and where it pays off, models that forecast demand, costs or faults before they happen.
Decisions on facts
03
Software and internal tools
We build practical systems around how your people already work: booking and scheduling, customer portals, back-office tools and integrations. You own the code, and we keep it simple enough for others to maintain.
Built to fit
04
Research partnerships
We connect you with universities and research institutes that fit your problem, help you agree scope and terms, and either coordinate the research or run it with you in house. Several programmes reward partnerships like this.
The right people
How it runs
How a build project runs.
Three steps, no hidden phases. At every point you know the scope, the price and the next step.
01
Scope in a week
We agree the goal, what done looks like, the budget and the people involved. You get one page you can read in five minutes, and a fixed scope and price before any work starts.
One page
02
Build in short cycles
We work in short cycles, each ending with something you can use or test. You decide what comes next, and if an approach is not working, we say so early.
You see progress
03
Hand over and measure
You receive the code, the documentation and a walk-through for your team. We then check the result against the goal we set, and help with the reporting any funding requires.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about building.
What does it cost?
We agree a fixed scope and price before we start; where the work qualifies, funding can pay for much of it. The funding applications cost little, on purpose: a small fixed fee, or no cure, no pay at a slightly higher fee. The first funding review is free and takes 20 minutes.
Who owns the result?
You do. We take no equity or IP. Where a university or research institute is involved, we agree who owns what in writing before work starts.
Can funding pay for it?
SkatteFUNN can cover part of the costs of an approved R&D project, as a tax deduction of 19 per cent. That includes R&D services you buy in, but the Research Council limits bought services to suppliers in the EEA or in countries with a tax or information exchange agreement with Norway. EU programmes such as Horizon Europe cover eligible costs under each call's rules. Ordinary software or tooling work only qualifies when it is part of a real R&D project. We check this first.
Do you work with our existing team?
Yes. We work alongside your own developers, analysts and domain experts, and hand over in a way they can carry on. You decide how much stays in house, and we bring in specialists only for the gaps.
How fast can we start?
We scope in about a week and aim to put something you can use in your hands within weeks, not years. Funding decisions follow each programme's own calendar, which we check at the start so there are no surprises.
Start with the funding.
The calculator takes about a minute and shows what your project could be funded with. The review that follows is free and comes with no commitment.
